One more project basically finished!

Well it's sort of hard to see in the pictures but we do have the majority of the landscaping done! We want to get a few more shrubs/flowers planted yet this fall or maybe next spring but it's as good as done for now :) As a side note it was only 90+ degrees and humid (one of the only days like that during the whole summer!) when Damien shoveled in all of the rock...bad planning on our part!!

1st Colby Cheese Days!

Ashlyn attended her first Colby Cheese Days this past weekend! We watched softball games, ran in the 5k Chariots of Cheese race, ate cheese of course, watched the parade, and even played the pick a duck game at the carnival! So it was an eventful weekend enjoyed by all :)

A giggling walker (well sort of)

Ashlyn loves trying to walk behind her new toy. Although she does forget to actually take steps once in a while and therefore almost falls flat on her face. Good thing daddy stays near by to help out. She must think it's just hilarious trying to walk because she just giggles as you will see! :)

Pool Time

The 4th of July weekend ended up warming up and so we were able to go swimming for the 1st time in Grandma's pool up North. Ashlyn seemed to enjoy the pool but didn't really like it when we turned the water on and a fountain came shooting out of the turtles head! We had a nice long weekend in Phillips and daddy got to enjoy catching some fish up there for once. We even cooked some up to eat one night.
