Disney on Ice 2012!

 Mom and Ashlyn had a girls day last Saturday and went to see Disney on Ice!  We went with one of my co-workers and her son.  It was a great performance and Ashlyn had a lot of fun - including needing a $15 slushie that was the messiest thing ever!!!!



Christmas concert at Rachel's Place!

 Last Friday night Rachel's Place had their annual Christmas concert.  Here are the girls all ready to go!

 Brielle's room got wheeled up in their "buggy".  Brielle is the oldest in the room and was the star of the show.  She got front row and had a great time shaking the bells during their Jingle Bells song...those babies are so cute!

I couldn't get a very good pic of Ashlyn's 4k class singing but here they are singing Away in the Manger.  Ashlyn was really excited to sing her Christmas songs they have been practicing for weeks!

Thanksgiving 2012 in Arizona!

 We spent Thanksgiving in Arizona this year by my parents and enjoyed a nice time away with beautiful weather.  And no one got sick!!!!  Every other time we have gone out to visit, someone has gotten sick or something happens which puts a damper on the trip.  This year everything went great :)  Ashlyn was a big help in the airport as she pushed Brielle in her stoller so mom and dad could carry all of the bags and gear.

 2nd cousins...my cousins Kim and Tyler were able to visit their parents in Arizona (they live in the same development as my parents) during the same time so Kim and Steve's kids and our munchkins got to know each other a little better.  They had a blast!

FALL 2012

Halloween 2012...

 We asked Ashlyn several times what she wanted to be for Halloween this year and she always replied "a witch!"  Which was always followed by "but a nice witch!"

 And our little monkey!  She enjoyed walking around the neighborhood this year :)

 At school and daycare they had black and orange day on the 31st.  Our munchkins dressed in the colors of the day...



Halloween Hollow!

 We took the kids to Halloween Hollow at the end of October.  It was the first time they put this together but it was a large area with different things for the kids to see and do.  Little "side stages" that put on mini performances and everything.  Brielle enjoyed going on the little slide over and over and over all by herself and Ashlyn made an attempt at making it through the haunted house (less scary before 7pm!) but didn't quite get through!  The loud buzzer sound was scaring quite a few.  Overall it was fun and the kids enjoyed it!

Happy 4th Birthday Ashlyn!!!

 We had a double birthday party for Ashlyn and her cousin Mya up north on Ashlyn's actual birthday!  The girls loved their Hello Kitty cake and had a good time celebrating together.

 We had a birthday party for Ashlyn and her friends at the gymnastics center the following weekend.  The kids had a blast there playing games and just running around and being crazy!
