Halloween 2013

Ashlyn had a Halloween party and parade at school on Halloween Day.  All the classes in the entire school walked in the parade for all to watch.  It was a pretty big event with alot of people there.  It was great to see all of the kiddos in their costumes and the kids had a great time.

Trick-or-treating with friends!  We even found a puppy along the street that gave Brielle a super size hersheys bar :)

Ashlyn got to wear her costume for her poms dance class the week of Halloween.

Fall Fun at Ferguson Orchard!

 We spent a nice fall day with Grandpa and Grandma Hoernke at Ferguson Orchard with the girls.  They enjoyed picking out pumkins, going on a wagon ride, walking through the corn maze and haunted house, and seeing the petting zoo!

Carving pumpkins for Halloween!  The girls enjoyed digging out the seeds this year and making a mess while doing it of course!

Soccer!

Ashlyn wanted to play soccer for a year it seems and we finally signed her up for it this fall.  She had a lot of fun playing and was always seen running on down the field with a smile on her face :)

Kindergarten!

Where did the time go???  It seems like it was just yesterday we can home from the hospital with our little girl and sat down in our living room and said "now what do we do?"  as we looked down at this little baby in her car seat only a few days old!  5 years have gone by so fast and our oldest has grown up so much already.  This fall she was ready to head off on her own and start Kindergarten!  She is loving school so far and making new friends.  We are so proud of her.

These pictures are from the Kindergarten open house day.  Ashlyn got to meet her teacher, look around her classroom and drop off her school supplies.  The start of the next 13 years of school!
