A good friend of mine and I took our princesses to a Disney on Ice show in the Cities last month. The girls were extremely excited to go and had a blast. The show was really good even Jenny and I enjoyed it!
Mickey and Minnie even made an appearance. Boy was Ashlyn excited!
We enjoyed the nice warm weather in March this year! Ashlyn was so excited to get outside and play and Brielle loves being outside as well watching her big sister and wishing she could run around with her. Her time will come soon enough!

We have had a busy couple months recently! Brielle has mastered crawling and is all over the house. She tries to keep up with her big sister and is into everything! She is also pulling up on furniture and before long we suspect she will be cruising along things as well. She finally got her 2 bottom teeth a few weeks ago and is now working on 4 on the top at once. Along with teething and the winter season colds our smiley little girl has had a few weeks of being a little miserable. :( She has still been sleeping well through it all though so we can't complain there. Only a few mornings when she wakes up at 5am and decides she is done with that sleeping thing and thinks it's "playtime."

Ashlyn taking over mommy and daddy's job! Ashlyn always wants to help with her little sister or likes to do whatever mom and dad are doing with Brielle with her own "baby." She is a busy 3 year old always singing or telling us stories about something. She continues to like art as well and brings us home plenty of projects she makes at daycare.

Christmas Day we had a nice lunch with the Hoernke's! Of course Grandpa Dave and Grandma Karen (a.k.a. applesauce Grandpa & Grandma) were there and Grandma Mae was able to drive over and join us as well. She got to meet Brielle for the first time so that was nice!

We had a great Christmas at the Resturaunt celebrating with the Hesgard's on Christmas Eve! We had great food, great company and Ashlyn was happy as could be with Grandma Debbie's famous "cherry drink!"

Brielle hung in there at the party like a champ. She wouldn't give into much of a nap all night even though she snuggled up nice and close to aunt Stacy at the end of the night :)
Ashlyn's favorite saying as she was opening presents from Santa..."Do I have more?" We tried to teach her about the 'giving' part of Christmas but she really liked the 'getting' this year. She did enjoy everything about Christmas this year though. The lights, the tree, her Christmas program at Daycare and presents! It was nice to hear her say one day though..."Is it Christmas yet? It's Jesus' birthday on Christmas."
Even Brielle liked the presents. Well maybe just the wrapping paper!
